Wow. Reading some of the App Store reviews you would think people were personally insulted that something didn’t work right away. So many flew off the handle assuming they were banned right away.
It’s clear people have no patience or tolerance for not getting what they want right away.
Trolls are fucking with our ratings, dunno what can be done about it. Anyone can download an app and crap on it; there may well be a way to point out to Developer Support that this isn't organic and get them all tossed out, I dunno...

The most hilarious one I saw was "CounterSocial is denying access to black people!' - referring to this screen that EVERYONE was getting at the time, because I needed COSO to be on for me but off for everyone else.
I'm like.... so somehow COSO can tell what color your skin is from your IP address???!?!?!?!

@annamuneca When you think about it, instant gratification is kind of a computer thing for end-users not familiar with what gets them from point a to point b.
A thousand years ago, in the age of the dinosaur, I worked a help desk on a mainframe system and, hand to god, I've had a user call me to tell me they hit the wrong key & that dang technology had the audacity to not do what they wanted.
It is the nature of the beast.

@annamuneca Ironic really, because twitter was always going down in the early years, and that's when it was nice to be there. So these little outages are giving me excellent vibes.
