Every day, find something to be thankful for, do something you can be proud of and plan something for tomorrow that will make your or someone else’s life better. Good luck and let me know you find this helpful.

From “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho
“The lake was silent for some time. Finally, it said: “I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected.” “

It’s been tough getting out of bed these days. So I signed up for daily yoga. *Gentle* yoga. It’s been a week and I am SO sore. Everywhere. Highly recommend.

Every morning I wake up thinking maybe the last week was a bad dream. But no, and every day it gets worse.

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

The POV of Canada's most outspoken trans cartoonist.

Personally I just want to punch their faces in.

“Focus only on the solution to the problem - never on the problem itself”.

@anita_rotheram Judy the POW dog was a small mixed-breed dog who became a mascot and companion to British and Allied forces during World War II. She was found on the deck of a ship in Shanghai in 1936 and quickly became a beloved member of the crew. During the war, Judy was taken prisoner by the Japanese after the ship she was on was captured. Judy endured harsh conditions in a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp, but she remained loyal and brought comfort to the prisoners. She would alert them to incoming danger and boost their morale during difficult times. Judy's presence provided a much-needed sense of normalcy and companionship in the midst of the horrors of war. After the war, Judy was awarded the Dickin Medal, known as the animals' Victoria Cross, for her bravery and devotion. She was the only animal to receive the award for her actions during WWII. Judy's story is a testament to the bond between humans and animals and the power of companionship in times of adversity.

@Alfred Whst can you tell me about Judy the POW dog? Thank you!
