It’s going to be interesting, in a passing-a-car-crash way, to see what happens on Twitter. My follower number there is dropping rapidly, which I assume means a bunch of people are leaving. Can something as integral to current society really be trashed that fast? Or is it just going to change into something else (and much less desirable)? I think it will probably survive in a way that I will be much less likely to use.

“Integral” is a key word there. I survived for years without it and i have a whopping 14 followers. I found other sources for the info i need. I still have a house and a job and a family and a happy life. Happier without it, actually.

@MPCavalier Only about 5% of people in North America are on Twitter. It’s integral, though, because basically every reporter and politician is on it and it’s a rare news report that doesn’t refer to it or quote tweets.
