Ukraine did receive a shipment of HIMARS rockets. They are using those to pound selected targets deep in the Russian held areas (mostly in the south). Those rockets cannot reach Mariupol.

There is no evidence thus far that any GLSDB rockets have reached Ukraine, yet. Although I do expect them sooner rather than later.

It's common artillery practice to use up the oldest ammo first (it has a shelf life). The Ukrainians have captured Russian ammo with 2022 date codes.

Supposedly the Russian's have already corrected their usage/production deficit. But that doesn't change the logistics situation within 100 miles behind the Russian lines.

With a bottleneck limiting ammo available at the front line, the Russian Army is going to prioritize their own units over a bunch of mercenaries leading convicts.
