We have the first confirmed loss of a Ukrainian Leopard 2A4, on the western end of the southern front, north of Tokmak.
Ukrainian armored column following a minesweeper tank stopped on the edge of a minefield waiting for the sweeper to clear a path. Russian artillery began falling around them. Don't know if the Leo was hit by an artillery shell or ran over a mine while maneuvering to avoid the artillery.
Ukrainians have 4 mech brigades in the area, 3 of those are new brigades.
The .50 HMG gun shield on an Australian-donated M113AS4 in Ukrainian service deflected a fairly heavy round (possibly 12.7 API), saving the gunner.

Tens of thousands of fish have died in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast after Russia's destruction of the Kakhovka dam the day before, the Health Ministry reported on June 7.
According to Ukrainian military seven counter attacks attempted by the Russians, all on the eastern front, all defeated. None on the southern front.
No words on the sizes of those attacks but Russian manpower is really slim in all but one of the locations shown on this map.
More to come...
At least 6 of the new Ukrainian brigades are now in or near the front line. Five on the southern front and one on the eastern front.
Two of the new Ukrainian units on the southern front and the single new unit on the eastern front have appeared opposite of gaps in the Russian line.
(I've identified and previously talked about those gaps, but have not named their locations for OPSEC reasons).
Ukraine has received a large number of heavy lift Volvo and Japanese trucks over the last month.

Most (if not all) of the Russian units trapped in the Kherson flood zone are badly damaged. No word on casualties, but they've lost a lot of vehicles, equipment, guns, and other weapons. It will take some time to re-build those units.
That's the good news.
The bad news is that Russian troops who survived can (and probably will) be repurposed as infantry reinforcements for other parts of the line, especially along the southern front.
...
Ukrainian attacks on the southern front appear to have over run the Russian first line of defense and are making slow progress. Same on the eastern front.
Ukrainian 3rd and 5th Assault brigades plowing though demoralized Russians on the Bakhmut flanks.
Large missile attacks on the Russian fortress at Tokmak behind the southern front.
It's Find Out time.
And a full third of the Russian troops on the southern front are still swimming for dry land on the wrong part of the front.
I think we can officially say that Ukraine's counter-offensive has begun (or began on Monday).
With large attacks on an unspecified regions of the southern front, at least one large attack on the eastern front, and continued counter attacks on both flanks of Bakhmut city.
New Ukrainian brigades are starting to show up on the maps and/or in videos, some rebuilt units are also returning to the maps.

The clown army really flooded their entire first line of defence in the Kherson Oblast , how much manpower, equipment, vehicles and ammunition did they just lose... π€¦πΌββοΈ
Pro- #Ukraine Russian fighters are causing trouble in Belgorod, and Moscow is forced to choose whether to prioritize those incursions or Kyiv's planned counter.
Persistent rumors that the "Great Ukrainian Counter-Offensive Has Begun!"
Every single one of those rumors comes from a Russian source. New Ukrainian units mentioned in the area by the Russians are *not* confirmed. As of yet there is no video confirmation of any of it.

There is however, confirmation that Wagner did shoot up a bunch of Russian regulars from the 72nd Motor Rifle brigade (north of Bakhmut), and took the Russian brigade commander hostage.
