@Zailrand @WomanVoter That "take it on the chin" statement from Johnson sent chills of horror down my spine. No second, or even third, thought for the people who will die from this, or live with physical fallout for the rest of their lives. Incredible callousness.

Every difficult situation is better navigated with the support of others.

Anxiety is mitigated when we think outside of ourselves.

So find ways to support other people and try to cultivate even more of a sense of community--we will get through this together.

Looks like colleges and universities are starting to shut down their campuses/shift to online learning.

I think about the students who have no home to which to return, or those who have toxic/hostile home environments and school has been a place of refuge and safety.

Again and again, I am moved to compassion for the ways people are being impacted by this.

Measured problem-solving and support are essential right now, at every level.
