I keep seeing people post opinion columns, as if they were news articles that presented news.

To me, an opinion piece is basically somebody getting paid to have their internet rant posted in a newspaper/news website.

I'm not sure why anyone would give a shit that some rando would have an opinion that someone paid for them to have.

Most of these are not even analyses by an expert. They are literally just someone talking out their ass.

Some races are tightening but other key pickup opportunities are moving in the wrong direction, according to a new round of polling from the Senate Leadership Fund.

What is the difference between a balloon full of Hydrogen and a balloon full of helium?

Re: SpaceX 2
The fanboys are certainly obnoxious today.
They spent the morning glorying the scrub of the Blue Origin launch this morning.

SpaceX's policy of moving fast and breaking things means they launch when not ready on purpose. At the same time, just about everyone else in the industry does everything they can not to blow up their ships under any circumstances.
The fanboys are aware of this difference in engineering philosophy, yet they cannot resist acting like a coup has been scored.

Re: SpaceX
This morning's launch was still a failure when you consider that the part of Starship(LOL) where the people would go failed bigtime. That part of the ship has never survived a test.

The first stage capture, as impressive as it was lacks relevance if you cannot get your people back alive.
