This one is believed to be a Great White Heron (White Morph). I photographed it in the swamp at Florida's Big Cypress National Preserve during my residency there. The image is part of my series about how native wildlife is impacted by invasive species introduced by humans.

On view at my "GIANT Portfolio" solo exhibition: xiomaro.com/atrium.html

So, the staff at Big Cypress National Preserve identified this one for me as a Great Blue Heron. It's a beautiful bird, even in warm tone black and white. It will be on public view for the first time at my upcoming "GIANT Portfolio" solo exhibition: xiomaro.com/atrium.html

Thanks to all who helped identify the egret. For the other photos, the experts at Big Cypress National Preserve took a look and said this one is a female anhinga. It will be on view for the first time at my upcoming "GIANT Portfolio" solo exhibition: xiomaro.com/atrium.html

My solo exhibition at Morris Museum closes today. In this video, I wonder what Washington would have thought if he should come to life.

Thanks to all who helped in identifying this bird as an egret. Here's the version to be exhibited at the Atrium Gallery (xiomaro.com/atrium.html)

I hope you will indulge me in identifying three other bird photos from Florida's Big Cypress National Preserve that I'll be posting soon.

What bird is this?

I took the photograph as the Artist-in-Residence at Florida's Big Cypress National Preserve. I'll be working on the image to print it for an upcoming exhibit: xiomaro.com/atrium.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
