3/3 Chat GPT:

5. Later apologized and confirmed that I don’t use a last name.

6. Pulled the following quote from www.xiomaro.com/about-xiomaro/: "My name, Xiomaro, is a combination of my given name and my mother’s maiden name.” [Not true and that link does not exist – I got “File not found (404 error)]”
I did not tell ChatGPT that I am Xiomaro.

2/3 The rest of Chat GPT's responses (could not fit all in the first post):

3. Chastised me by saying it’s inappropriate to make judgments based on one's appearance and that my work and accomplishments are what makes me notable

4. Said my parents named me Xiomaro (with the X pronounced as a Z), my last name is Ulloa, I was born in Queens, I’m part Ukrainian, and I use Canon, Sony, and Hasselblad cameras [all untrue!].

1/3 ChatGPT’s responses to my questions about “Xiomaro”:

1. I am well-known, but not a household name – and gave tips on increasing my name recognition.

2. It could not say whether I am jerk or good looking. But did say I generally have a “friendly and approachable demeanor.”

I did not tell ChatGPT that I am Xiomaro. Hints of HAL 9000?

Wow. I am flattered by the very generous financial contribution made by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association toward the funding of my upcoming solo exhibition.

I appreciate their support of the arts in raising public awareness of environmental resources like the New England Trail. www.xiomaro.com

Went to an off-Broadway filming of Eddie Izzard playing 19 characters in the Charles Dickens’ classic "Great Expectations." It was a great study in acting and story telling with minimal production enhancement.

The producers were also stars in rescheduling my tickets for comparable seats after I missed the original performance date due to my first bout with Covid -- a very considerate accommodation.

Almost done installing soundproof insulation in the studio ceiling. Then I can finally stop wearing this stupid outfit. www.xiomaro.com

Been having an ongoing conversation with a colleague about the proliferation and repercussions of AI tools. Here’s my experiment with Midjourney after prompting it to create an image of “Putin as Satan.” I did a little touchup in my photo editing software to get it to look sharper.

I could not stop laughing when I entered this prompt to Chat GPT:

"Write Xiomaro's artist statement about his New York City street photography but using lots of academic art speak and pretentiousness"

and it immediately generated this.

Maybe street photography? Or how about something architectural? No, wait, I've done that. Maybe portraits? Then there are those beach sand photos no one's seen. Or maybe... www.mayoarts.org | www.xiomaro.com

A public "thank you" to Friends of Keney Park. They generously provided financial support for my solo exhibition this spring.

This historic park in Hartford, Connecticut, is one of the largest designed landscapes in America and is located near the New England Trail. ww.xiomaro.com

My street photograph is part of the group exhibit at the Mayor's Gallery in Stamford, CT, along with an eclectic display of work from 34 accomplished artists.

Here's a look back at Congressman Jim Himes' comments about my solo exhibit in 2013. www.xiomaro.com
