Drove past my local Merritt Island voting precinct at noontime. The #MAGA forces were out front waving a giant US flag, except the red stripes were made of assault rifles. No voter intimidation there. 🙄

Somehow he conned Elon Musk into spending Elon's money to run the Trump ticket's ground campaign.
It's failing miserably, but that's not the point. The point for Trump is that he didn't have to spend his own money. He'll go into retirement with another $100 million in his PAC than he would have had to spend if not for conning Elon.

@catlynne333 That's what his core demographic wants -- someone who is as crude as they are. They don't like someone telling them they can't be crude and boorish; #Trump validates them.
After Trump won in 2016, we went to dinner in a local restaurant. A group of Trumpers was being loud and obnoxious, challenging anyone from California to fight them. (Thinking they're in Florida, cowards.)
The manager finally threw them out, but they stiffed the restaurant for the bill, no surprise.
#Maddow last night interviewing J. Ann Seltzer, whose #Iowa poll showed #HarrisWalz2024 +3 over #Trump. Some interesting insights into how the polling was conducted; will the high senior women turnout for Harris in Iowa be replicated nationwide?
After this, the panel made the point that pollsters tend to adjust models based on the past election, whereas Seltzer attempts to predict the profile of the next electorate.
#Politics The Des Moines Register floored us last night when it released a poll showing #Harris +3 in Iowa over #Trump.
The Trump campaign released an Emerson poll today showing him +10 in Iowa over Harris.
Simon Rosenberg at Hopium Chronicles says the Emerson poll was paid for by RealClearDefense, a pro-Trump group backed by House Armed Services Republicans.
In other words ... it's junk.
I'm still a bit skeptical about the Register poll, but glad to know the Emerson poll is garbage.
