#Politics #WaPo posits the question of how the Secret Service would handle #Trump's incarceration if he's sentenced to jail.
The article only considers federal prison, but doesn't consider state charges. He's already indicted in NY, and will soon be in GA.
No way they all give him probation or sentence him to home confinement.
I do like the idea of "community service" if it means picking up trash along the highway while wearing a striped prison jumpsuit ...
#Politics One potential #Trump defense is that he blames his "attorney" John Eastman for giving him bad advice.
That doesn't work for several reasons, one being that lots more attorneys -- including his AG -- told him it was bollocks.
Beyond that, it encourages Eastman to flip to save his own hide. Eastman has as much dirt on Trump as anyone, maybe even more than Meadows or Giuliani.

We know some members were aware of the scheme. But how many on the floor would have voted to accept the fake electors? That's an act that puts one in the crosshairs with one's voters.

I think O'Donnell misinterpreted this. When the IT Director said he didn't "have the rights" to delete the files, most likely he meant his login account didn't have Delete privileges. That's why they sought out the Security supervisor, to find out if he did.
My guess is no one present had the privileges. Rather than expand the conspiracy, they called Trump and decided to call it off.
So, all those times that #Trump railed about Hillary Clinton supposedly wiping her server?!
