Idle thought about the Republican nonsense that illegal immigrants are eating people's pets ... Not all pets are a cat or a dog. Some people have as pets a cow, pig, chicken, goat, duck, goose, turkey, or other creature that might appear somewhere on a menu.
I'd be perfectly content to go vegetarian if I had a spouse who would agree to share such a diet.
