"Some Top Democrats Want FDR to Quit Race This Week"
FDR was in worse shape than Biden. The difference was the absence of a televised debate.

I saw one article reporting the White House considering a town hall where #Biden can take questions from the public. If he's not up to it, well ... But then neither were FDR or Ike or Reagan.
