In 2018, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa announced an agreement with Elon Musk to fly a private crewed mission on to the Moon in 2023.

Maezawa just announced he's cancelled dearMoon due to the lack of "clear schedule certainty in the near-term." No kidding, I could have told you that in 2018. Never trust Elon Time.
