WOW. @WordsmithFL, I'm just starting on CBS Ghosts in earnest, and the sheer sense of impunity for our US couple is baked into the script is some fascinating ways.
In the BBC version, when the plague pit's discovered, the couple accepts the need for archaeological experts without much fuss. It's history! But in the CBS version... the couple's on board with desecrating a historical site like *that*, if it cuts down on reno time. π€¦ββοΈ
The audiences for these two versions are very different! π¬
@MLClark I ask that you give it a few episodes. S1E7 and S1E11 are two of my favorites. (S1E7 is a Flower episode.)
Sam develops a career as a free-lance writer, so you may find some familiar ground plowed.
All the CBS characters evolve over the first two seasons. The responsibility of tending to the ghosts helps mature Sam and Jay.
Beyond that, as much as I want to tell you more ... π€
Oh, I'm watching the whole thing for comparative analysis if nothing else - but it's *so* fascinating how different these versions are. Same concept! Completely different execution.
I'll keep an eye out for your favourites, but Flower is definitely my favourite so far, too. :)
@MLClark Here is Sheila Carrasco's bio. She's as much a writer as she is an actor. Her theater background shines with all her physical improv.

@MLClark Re your comparative analysis, methinks you have an essay in your future. π
I sent a pitch along to a magazine this morning. :) We'll see!
