A young, unidentified prince is depicted in the foreground on a beautifully caparisoned gray stallion holding a falcon in his gloved right hand. The prince could be Maharaja Ishwari Singh of Jaipur (r. 1743–1750). The later inscription on the reverse suggests that it may be Prince Sahas Mal of Kishangarh. The pavilion to the right side of the lake is similar to Jal Mahal, a palace in the Man Sagar lake between Jaipur and the old city of Amer.

The procession beyond the lake with soldiers on foot, horsemen, and elephants includes a few European figures in black hats. The striped flags being carried are very similar to the pacharanga (five colors) associated with the Maharajas of Amer and Jaipur.
