I suppose it's a testament to my Catholic school education that I paid attention in History classes & remember what was taught us. I also listened to my elders & the stories they told us of their war experiences, when they spoke of them. Scary stuff, that.

Interesting article about Pius XII. I've actually heard that about him before. Not in that much detail (I only skimmed the article; I will read the full article later) but it didn't surprise me.
