I don’t get it. What’s not to love about Long John Silver?

It was tasty as could be, yes. Long enough, and arteries got clogged like a NASCAR Winston Cup race parking lot with only one exit onto a one-way street. LOL
My favorite thing they had was the little crispy bits. Those things were and still are the best. And the flounder with fries. Top-tier.
@Vonzales I wish we still had one near us! Their chicken was the best… we like the fish with malt vinegar..
Now I want fish and chips 😄
I wonder if there is a copycat recipe… theirs is good stuff.
Long John Silver had the BEST fish-and-chips combo. In the US, at least.
@Vonzales I loved it growing up in NC Illinois. It's now gone. I miss it.
