70 years ago yesterday, Dr. Jonas Salk announced the successful test of his polio vaccine. If this happened today, Fox would be spreading disinformation, people would be whining about their freedoms, and GOP like Jim Jordan and MTG would be calling for Salk’s arrest.

Three children and two adults were murdered today in a school shooting in Nashville. Here are the gun laws in Tennessee:

NO state permit required to purchase

NO firearm registration

NO owner license required

NO permit required for concealed carry

NO permit required for open carry

NO background checks for private sales

And the state can preempt local laws.
