@stueytheround @process

Yup. 🤣 My aunt had an obnoxious kitchen wallpaper with huge flowers using all those colors. God, it was ugly.

@process

Agree. I was a kid when avocado and harvest gold, orange, and brown were the 'it' colors.

Even then, I hated them on appliances, tiles, etc. Blecchh

@LSWellesley

It's amazing and very exciting what they're doing!

@Madken65

Um . . . I haven't named mine in the 7 years I've owned it. How horrible of me.

But my older sister drove my mom's old Pontiac Catalina 2-door coupe in high school. Pale salmon color w/huge back fins. Thing was a tank. No power steering or brakes.

She named it 'Ethel the Whisper Jet.'

Maybe that's why I never named my cars. I can't top that.

Great article on mushrooms, mycelium, and sustainable products in the WaPo today.

'Gifting' this - it's free, but they may make you 'sign in'. Sorry.

But the article is good.

Lightning would be a wonderful assassin's tool, wouldn't it?

@th3j35t3r

Watched it that first time it aired. Really well done & YES,

EVERYONE needs to see it.

Take the time to do it, people. Please?!

@SpaceShanks

Yeah . . . but I have to admit I've had some weekends so bad that Monday looked pretty good. 🤣

Got two more mini trees up on the Etsy store. Lila & Elsa. I know it's 'too early' for Xmas stuff, but ppl who love minis & dollhouses search year-round.

Click through the pictures to see how I constructed Elsa.

Relatives in the Asheville area got word out - they're okay!

'Cept for no power, no water, no cell service. No roads in or out. Entire towns washed away.

The national media better step up their game on this.

Read this if you have ppl in the Asheville area & want to know what's up. My brother is there & we've not heard s word. Now I know why. Fingers crossed for hearing soon.

@redenigma

I agree with you on that. And I've been dirt poor with two little boys on my own, working six days a week, panicking at 2am, worried out of my mind with how was I going to make the rent.

But - the basic premise of that one still rings true.

Every day we make these choices, whether we realize it or not.

Choose which hard you want.

@LnzyHou @anniecoughlin

Hoo-boy. That's tough. Sneaky airborne virus, isn't it?

@LnzyHou

At this point, I'd be wearing a mask every day myself.
