I haven't watched a televised baseball game is many many years. Watching the Mets-Brewers game now. They’re doing superimposed branding on the pitchers mound now? Dang.
@MPCavalier Have noticed how sports betting has become more intrusive in televised games. See the "win probability" banner? Betting commercials are really pushing apps like it was candy.

I am also now remembering what a boring and slow game it is. And there’s a pitch clock! Maybe i can find a rugby match.
@MPCavalier Yup. Both American football and baseball have undergone game changes to appease TV commercialization (less down time) and more action. Today's games are played under completely different rules than yesteryear. I worked Sundays for several decades and missed football. We now have Sunday night, Thursday football and so many different channels/streaming options.
