I think the whole idea that men should wear their belts going in one direction and women in another is utterly absurd. Most symmetrical belts can be easily worn in any direction. People should be able to wear their belts anyway they like and not be practicing some kind of silent gender-coding.

The same with the whole business of putting buttons on different sides to gender otherwise identical clothing. Who invented this nonsense anyway?
