So there's never a time when you should be proud of being wealthy, or being ashamed of being poor. You can be proud or ashamed of things you've done, but their relationship to that net worth number is not an essential one, and it's a fallacy to reason back from latter to the former.
What you should be valued for are the traits, inborn or acquired, which make you an individual: generosity, honesty, kindness, friendship, loyalty, and, yes, skill and diligence–but measured in work, not in money.
Years & years ago, I read an essay arguing that people unconsciously view their labor as a gift to their boss. Even though it is literally an exchange of time & skill for pay. If that gift, so to speak, isn't appreciated, workers leave. It formed my management approach. I haven't had many people report to me but I have always taken the opportunity to talk up their work.
They say that "We" don't have enough money in the world to fix the planet and that's because the 10 richest people don't consider themselves part of "we" and they control more than half of the money worldwide.
Billionaires shouldn't exist.
A big welcome to the new people arriving in the latest #TwitterExodus! 🎉
You have found a special place, things are different here. It's civilized.
#CoSo is more than a platform, it's a community. A large, diverse community with room for everyone.
There's no rush to get a huge number of followers here, because everybody gets heard regardless of size.
Tell us all a bit about yourself in a post tagged with #MeetTheNauts, and pin it to your profile. It's a great way to break the ice!
I mentioned a while back that I was preordering the #RingCarCam specifically because it's the first cam equipped with #TrafficStop recording which is going to be ideal for myself and my other Black tribemate.
When you're getting pulled over you can tell it to record using your voice. No need to move your hands to reach for anything and get shot. It uploads footage to the cloud in real time and notifies your emergency contact who can then use 2 Way Talk and Live View on their end to monitor.

This filing in the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News is one of the most remarkable documents I've ever seen. Filled with private texts between Fox stars like Hannity and Carlson, plus Murdoch, all admitting they knew Fox's stolen election claims were lies. https://int.nyt.com/data/documenttools/redacted-documents-in-dominion-fox-news-case/dca5e3880422426f/full.pdf
"The sense that one is an impostor is a common human experience, but to elevate it to the status of syndrome is incorrect and misleading. Syndrome sounds like a mental health diagnosis more than simply a phenomenon with which we all tussle."
