This is pink, but maybe it will make the CoSo meter green this morning?
Prickly pear gluten free sourdough bread. Proof and 1st rise.
Here is the recipe I started from. Any mishaps from use of my Gluten Free starter and King Arthur Flour measure for meadure flour will be all my own.

@Vanitas 😍 beautiful start to morning !
@Vanitas Lovely! First, I'm going to try regular sourdough (per advise of Darling Daughter), then, this is up on the list! Thank you for the recipe. Going to get some lunch now.
@Vanitas
That's awesome. Hope it tastes as good as it looks.
@Vanitas
Bloody well done!
Nice open texture.
Enjoy.
@Vanitas hope you show finished bake, including maybe slicedinterior? cuz this looks gorgeous
@erose Even if it's a complete failure, I promise!
@Vanitas i doubt it will be but what does not bake well makes us wiser and more determined! 🤣
@Vanitas
Does it stay pink after the baking?
@stueytheround The gluten-rich original may turn a pink-orange says the recipe author. I added citric acid as recommended, which is reported to hold the color. Will report back!
Into loaf pan for 2nd rise
