The other day, this lovely appeared to be struggling--trapped in a corner on the outside of my home--like it wanted to escape but couldn't figure out how to do so.

I raised my arm and it landed on my wrist.

I carried it out into the yard, under some flowering trees. It rested on my arm for a few minutes before flying away.

A very memorable, peaceful portion of shared time.

Walking after work (smelling wonderfully of Febreze 😄), I had a close encounter with this deer.

We just stood quietly looking at each other. I said “hi sweetie” and it took a bite of grass, placidly enjoying its dinner.

I moved on, leaving the deer to its repast.

Such a sweet moment.
