Hooboi. My kiddo’s Hul'qumi'num teacher had me in tears last night during a friendship circle. She sat there thanking me for allowing my son to take her class, which is helping to revive an almost extinct indigenous language. So many mixed emotions. ❤️ There needs to be MORE indigenous teachers in public schools.
