I once again ask for forgiveness for bringing the blight of the bird site here. However…. For those missing it there is a viral memefest going on. The pic is of a young lady yelling in the ear of a young man. Probably at a concert. The captions are amazing. Here is just one example. The upset woman and the cat have been updated.

I’m not sure how the magic bird site algorithm decided I should see this ad. But whatever. My bigger concern is about how tone deaf the ad is. The premise of 101 Dalmatians is the evil lady want to make coats out of the puppies. So… here’s a picture of a spotted dog and a spotted handbag. I’ve recently heard people claiming Disney is evil. Maybe they’re right.

@kel @CJLavoie I've consciously watched for this. All female groups at both my lovely bride's work, and at my work, quite frequently refer to themselves collectively as guys. "It's time to head to the other room, guys." Happens a lot in my experience.

To be fair… here’s the bruschetta.

For the meat eating crowd: Smoked Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers then cranked up the heat and added several flavours of sausages. Toothpick combos to keep track of flavours. Yum! Better half is finishing up bruschetta with produce from this morning’s farmers market (jalapeños were from there too)

@kel I must add that I also know the gov't has strange rules for tech. My uncle worked for the IRS in the 80's and early 90's. Whenever they turned in a PC for repair they were required to open up the hard drives and physically scratch all the platters before turning it over for repair. Was one of the dumbest things I'd ever heard.

@kel I agree! Every time I hear that nonsense about messages not being "retrievable" I think of this commercial.
