@ACID_CASUALTY Just *yesterday* I was telling one of my boys about this exact computer. I had a sales guy check one of these with his luggage at the airport. It got absolutely destroyed. Came out on the luggage carrousel in half a dozen pieces.
@mushrj oh....and a flash from the past..... I played that game on a DECWriter. All text. Not even that awesome picture of the ox and wagon until later. 👴
@mushrj, @th3j35t3r, a birdsite account (@omaha_scanner) has a great thread about the debacle last night as it came across the airwaves. It is funny and sad at the same time. And the Oregon Trail graphic was amazing. I totally stole it.
🍊 💩 🤡 is supposed to be in Omaha tomorrow for a quick lie-fest.
This last Saturday I was out with the wife after a soccer match (Go Union!) and ran into a couple folks who had come into town for the "event." They were staying, along with 50-ish of their closest friends, at a hotel on the opposite side of town from where the Fibathon is to be held. ~ 20 miles.
They were from Texas and described themselves as being, "with the campaign."
The whole conversation seemed surreal and not right.
My 2 oldest boys are both political centrists but one leans a bit left and the other a bit right.
I spent quality time this weekend watching them interact. They are open and respectful in their discussions.
I was happy to see they both had opinions, they had reasons for having those opinions, and I'll be darned if they didn't actually listen to each other. I might not always agree with them but they are on the right track for knowing how to have a civil and intelligent discussion.

@leejackson I heard that!!!
18 minutes in. Chaos. 🤣
Game on!

@MrsE0113 That's a great idea. I know a couple folks who would love something like that.
@Dane this guy was supposed to turn himself in today. He committed suicide instead.
@Jinqs I like the way you think. But there can be no sampling. It's like a gender reveal for the taste buds. We all find out together. And maybe without the mass destruction of wildlife and forests. 😁
@Dane This is hometown for me. A lot of awful things happened that night. A single better decision by any one of a half dozen people and a young man would still be alive. Based on what I was able to learn, I'm personally not surprised the grand jury voted to charge the guy. The whole town was wound up tight waiting for the results to be released. For the moment I will say I have confidence in the system. So far, so good.
I was today old when I learned about how efficient serpentine walls can be.
