Watching the world burn.

Adult libation application will now commence.

Did this for the last time yesterday. That click ended a 35+ year run at the same company.

Bottom pic is today's sunrise. Day 1, if you will.

I'm calling it 'retired' but I will probably get another job in the same field when the world reopens.

Stay safe everyone.

@yogapaddlerun
My weekly class is in someone's basement. I had to skip last week because they used facetime and some of us are android folks. This week will be a Zoom event! So happy for that.

Wife and couple of the boys are arguing real estate via spongebob and friends. I thought this pic nicely summed up mindset the last couple days.
Hang in there cosonauts.

So this happened...
Got told I was "retiring" this week. Not a total surprise. But daaaamn the timing sucked. Been there since 1984. I got a severance package so I'm not gonna panic yet. I've got enough saved on my own to carry me a couple more months. But really? Now?

Anyway...here's a picture of the trash can I've had at work since 1980-something. The Cali-surf and Tees sticker is from San Diego circa 1987. Fun trip.

😁

Time to turn the page.

Hope everyone is healthy and safe

My local Humane Society publishes pics of the puppy cart almost every day.
I usually say, "Thanks. I needed that."

Probably the flu, but I think I will keep an eye on this one happening in my neck of the woods.

At a payments security conference. This is the kind of stuff creating havoc with traditional payment security models.

Were am I?

Okay, just to be clear...*I* know where I am. 😁😉✈ unless we start talking about the Big Picture, then I'm not so sure most of the time.

@_txgal most definitely. I repaired my father's mailbox several times. The plow never actually hit it. However, the box is at the end of the driveway on a county road. The drivers would come by plowing so fast that the wave of snow and ice would crush the box. An all-brick structure would probably have withstood the onslaught. His exposed aluminum box, even the super heavy duty ones, stood no chance. To their credit, the county repaired it a few times themselves.

Real headline on local Midwestern news site: "Iceberg size of Malta breaks off Antarctica."

Because Malta's size is a reference we can relate to. 🤪

This is why my faith in all forms of media are at an all time low. CoSo notwithstanding.

Okay...Go Google Malta and dive down that rabbit hole for a while. Thank me later.

Something to distract from the day's insanity.
How do you group these words together by like pronunciation...
"I got a COUPON for SOUP from CUPID."

@Keysalagain I just can't get over how this looks like he got hit in the face with an invisible pie.

@Render not to age myself....that reminds me of a modern take on the tv show Rat Patrol.
