I wanted to ring our doorbell just to see how many pieces that chair broke into. My lovely bride, who is clearly smarter than me, preempted my wood explosion with a simple look and a, "no."

Again....I have absent more than I wanted. Life is like that. I love this place.
Before a webex interview for a new job a finch landed on my window sill and sang. Regardless of any of you nay-sayers I took it as a good sign. I rocked the interview in my opinion.
And the other item is a #DogsOfCoSo deal. I wish I could learn how to chill out like this beast. He has his moments of crazy high energy. But otherwise he is like this. My wish is that we can all find this place in our hearts.
There is a shit-ton of stuff going on in the world right now. I feel some awesome changes in the works as long as we dont oversteer the collective and end up in the ditch.
Anyway...this is my dog Cooper. He is a master at chilling out. I love his reminders that even in time of stress and struggle we must take time to recharge and reflect.
Be safe and be the change.
My lovely bride had a disagreement with the dog on whether said dog was a "lap dog." Dog won this round. He didn't have to jump into her lap. Just walked.

So this happened...
Got told I was "retiring" this week. Not a total surprise. But daaaamn the timing sucked. Been there since 1984. I got a severance package so I'm not gonna panic yet. I've got enough saved on my own to carry me a couple more months. But really? Now?
Anyway...here's a picture of the trash can I've had at work since 1980-something. The Cali-surf and Tees sticker is from San Diego circa 1987. Fun trip.

Time to turn the page.
Hope everyone is healthy and safe
My local Humane Society publishes pics of the puppy cart almost every day.
I usually say, "Thanks. I needed that."
