It will probably taste like warm dirt but boy does this gravy look good.

I wanted to ring our doorbell just to see how many pieces that chair broke into. My lovely bride, who is clearly smarter than me, preempted my wood explosion with a simple look and a, "no."

Again....I have absent more than I wanted. Life is like that. I love this place.

Before a webex interview for a new job a finch landed on my window sill and sang. Regardless of any of you nay-sayers I took it as a good sign. I rocked the interview in my opinion.

And the other item is a deal. I wish I could learn how to chill out like this beast. He has his moments of crazy high energy. But otherwise he is like this. My wish is that we can all find this place in our hearts.

There is a shit-ton of stuff going on in the world right now. I feel some awesome changes in the works as long as we dont oversteer the collective and end up in the ditch.

Anyway...this is my dog Cooper. He is a master at chilling out. I love his reminders that even in time of stress and struggle we must take time to recharge and reflect.

Be safe and be the change.

Painting an old house today. Previous owner was a chain smoker who never opened windows. Yikes. Made huge progress today. Kilz oil based primer is awesome.

Take-and-bake Thai chicken pizza.

I dont think my BlackBox Cabernet is normally paired with this by the average sommelier. But then again, maybe it is. πŸ•πŸ·

I've gone from "What day is it?" To "What month is it?" To "What damn half of the year is it?" I mean really, 2020 is the jacked up deal ever.
This morning I said to my boys, " Please mow the grass before it snows later." Omg.

Sister to the Ballchinian from Men In Black is the notorious BaldTacoChinian that lives in the Whitehouse.

Watching the world burn.

Adult libation application will now commence.

Did this for the last time yesterday. That click ended a 35+ year run at the same company.

Bottom pic is today's sunrise. Day 1, if you will.

I'm calling it 'retired' but I will probably get another job in the same field when the world reopens.

Stay safe everyone.

Wife and couple of the boys are arguing real estate via spongebob and friends. I thought this pic nicely summed up mindset the last couple days.
Hang in there cosonauts.

So this happened...
Got told I was "retiring" this week. Not a total surprise. But daaaamn the timing sucked. Been there since 1984. I got a severance package so I'm not gonna panic yet. I've got enough saved on my own to carry me a couple more months. But really? Now?

Anyway...here's a picture of the trash can I've had at work since 1980-something. The Cali-surf and Tees sticker is from San Diego circa 1987. Fun trip.

😁

Time to turn the page.

Hope everyone is healthy and safe

My local Humane Society publishes pics of the puppy cart almost every day.
I usually say, "Thanks. I needed that."

Probably the flu, but I think I will keep an eye on this one happening in my neck of the woods.
