First 10k 🏃‍♂️of the year is in the books yesterday. Temp was okay (about 40F) but the wind was also 20ishMPH. 💨So yuck for that part. We shall not discuss my time or how bad my knee hurts today. 🦵 I will say I came in within a couple minutes of my estimate. The bar was set pretty low. 😉

Took one of my sons to the range tonight. Caught this lucky frame. As with many things in my life, my kids are generally better than me at everything. This sport is no exception. I’m fine with that.
As a side note: there was a dude in the next lane with a totally decked out AR platform practicing mag drops. He went through a couple hundred 223/556 rounds in about 8 minutes. It was both amusing and concerning all at the same time. And loud.

You know what happens when you put both your hummus and your crackers in identical bowls? Not much until you add in some TV distraction. At that point you will100% stick your fingers into the hummus. Ugh. 🙄

Finally got my butt out of bed early enough to go for a run before work. Was awesome out. Will be in the 90s later today and I'm getting too old to mess with stuff like that. And my dog was extattic about getting to go. 🐶

My lovely bride told me today was national chocolate chip coole day. True or not, it means I'm making cookies today. One of my specialties and her Achilles Heel. 😋

This is eastern Nebraska. Might be surprising to some of you but it feels about right to me.

Ran across this in my desk today. I loved this device. My first decent mobile email experience. I could type very fast on that keyboard. I've never gotten back to that speed on the virtual smartphone keyboards or even with swipe entry. My lovely bride is a swipe-to-type magician.

This will go into my time capsule of defunct mobile phones. I think I even have my Handspring Visor in that box tool.
