I prefer the black background, but are you able to change the incidence angle of the light source so it isn't shadowed so much?
@voltronic I thought about that top shadow as well. I might try to do that but will have to wait for the morning. That a natural light original.

Thanks for all the quick feedback. Boy do I like this place just as much as ever. If I can work on the top shadow of the black background I just might keep them side by side. The black background one is visually heavier to me but I have a place in mind where the two will work as a pair.
