If you are paying attention to weather events, you know that several counties in South Florida were declared disaster areas last week. No hurricanes. No floods. Just a rain bomb which are becoming more common.

Watched #Oppenheimer again last night, then watched a documentary about "Downwinders", the populations of peoples who lived down wind from the *928* nuclear detonations that occurred in the Nevada desert from the late 40's until 1994.
Absolutely bananas that our government detonated nukes in America, west of the prevailing winds.
Absolutely insane that some people are pushing to *resume* testing.
The photographs also invite serious reflection on the complexities of American tourism and its fantasies of an unspoiled West.
