FYI just in case anyone gets confused: washing soda and baking soda are not the same.

Baking soda is NaHCO3

Washing soda is Na2CO3

They behave quite differently.

Hot washing soda solution is one helluva cleaner.

And it's cheap. Stupid cheap.
