I don’t care what other people think of me. I care how other people treat me, especially when it violates my human rights. When someone who thinks ill of me has power over my life, and they use it to harm me, I care. I care about being disrespected, especially when it means I am therefore in danger.
@ToolPackinMama 👍🏻 Also, being disrespected where others can see it can teach others that it's OK to also act badly. Especially kids. AND it can inform other folks that them being treated badly is OK cuz it's not just them...
