Took DJ to the ball game tonight. Kids are still sharks when a ball goes over the fence. Geesh. But I got a few shots of him and I got this . I wanna make note. I DON'T shoot sports. But being this lens alot use for sports I figured why not. Didn't expect anything great. Maybe good but I had to try it at least once. And I get this. Beginners luck? Lol

I'm fighting with 3 lenses. The 28. The 50 and 85. I want to try and run with one lens but not knowing what's gonna be at the event tonight I think the 85 might be too tight. Which brings it to the 28 and 50. 50 is perfect for portraits but the 28 is perfect for the street. Before anyone asks yes I'm investing in a zoom to eliminate this problem once I get my job but that won't be til September which means I'm stuck using primes what do you guys think

Ok folks. Tell me what you think. If I'm wrong in my thinking you can tell me. There's a small fair this weekend (we call them field days) and I obviously plan on taking my camera with me AND my business cards....nobody can't say I'm not hustling and putting in the work 🤣 anyways I DON'T want to take my 70-200 because I want to be light. The plan as it stands is to take pictures of rides and people and if I'm lucky some street portraits (thus the cards being handled out) anyways

Does anybody know how to block specially, voip calls on an android phone? @th3j35t3r any idea? I keep getting calls from a 508 (Massachusetts) area code but the number is going through bandwidth (.com) keep in mind I don't even live in MA!

And finally the team lost 8-7. Home opener. Nephew was ticked but after he calmed down he said he's ready for next week as long as the other team as he put it "aren't disgusting cheaters". 🤣🤣.

Ok so I took my nephew to his first baseball game.

The good news: he had a good time and wants to go again.

The bad news: he almost had a ball but a bunch of sharks (kids.) swarmed behind the bleachers and were swallowing them up. One kid had 4. It's like really? You need that many from one game?

I had a chance for a ball and I still can leap bleachers with a single bound (at 44 that's amazing) but some dude literally tackled me for it and when he realized he couldnt get it he touched

Then to top it off I go to a coffee shop in a college town. Dropped off some business cards (maybe 50 or so)as well last week. This is the time of year the coffee shop slows down bc college isnt in session. I go there today and all of them were gone. No way all those cards went (I learned the market in that area) . I'd expect maybe 10-15...maybe. But all of them. Makes me definitely question it .

I'm just gonna call myself cursed.

So I applied to a job about a month ago and there's a few different reasons why I want it. But regardless after about 3 weeks I called there to see if my application was looked at. I was told it was and would receive a call before last Friday (I called on Tues), so as of today I didn't hear nothing back. Called there again. The boss wasn't in so she started to take my info. No sooner does she do that, church bells, barking, and gas trucks start going by

So something odd happened. I checked a camera apps page and for the first time since I joined in '10 or '11, eyes on what Ive released has increased. I'm kinda shocked. 13 years to get this far. Now if I can turn those non followers into followers, I'll be excited. If anyone has tips I'd appreciate it. I actually feel somewhat validated (not that I ever wanted validation. I just wanted this as a career but I don't think that will happen. I can handle successful content creator though!)
