I'm fighting with 3 lenses. The 28. The 50 and 85. I want to try and run with one lens but not knowing what's gonna be at the event tonight I think the 85 might be too tight. Which brings it to the 28 and 50. 50 is perfect for portraits but the 28 is perfect for the street. Before anyone asks yes I'm investing in a zoom to eliminate this problem once I get my job but that won't be til September which means I'm stuck using primes what do you guys think
@corlin my problem was I didn't see myself getting into everything lol
I got the 50 and 85 for portraits
I got the 28 specifically for street
The 16 was bc I wants an artsy style lens while not one in theory when you use it for portraits you can come up with some interesting stuff
And the 70-200 was for sports. So I had reasoning behind each one
But maybe the last 2 years I'm like maybe I should of brought this one or that one would have been better. That's why I'm looking at zooms lol
@corlin 50 worked great. Just too bad the amount of people I thought were gonna be there wasn't close
Good to hear.

hmmm.
🤔
Well you have already been bitten by the gear bug. And your bag is heavy. So now you're into FOMO. My suggestion is still the same. The difference between a good photo and a great photo is never the gear, it is always the photographer.
limits and constraints in any art form is the primary spark to creativity.
