In summary, if you want to mute or block me - just do it and do not tell me about it. LOL

What is interesting to me now looking back, and I think someone replied to them, is that they are being a gatekeeper on how to vote.

We have collectively stopped putting out good candidates and voting for good people regardless of party.

If I choose still vote for I presume to be the best person of character for the role that is my right.

I also want to be clear I am not seeking validation or to be told I am correct here. They can CoSo how ever they like I am not being a gatekeeper here.

I just realized I have no idea how to do a thread properly. LOL

If you are going to mute or block someone just do it. Do not warn them. To me it is rude to inform someone of the impending mute or block.

Person B - then goes on to post a reason "people" will be muted or blocked
Person A - perplexed that they were not even given a chance or given further dialog on the matter
Person B - posts a long thread of steps they take for muting or blocking

Commendable as that is they muted Person A on a knee jerk reaction. But fine whatever, it is their prerogative.

Here is where I think it is bad form.

Person A - posts something with a meme
Person B - replies with a link pointing out how the meme is wrong
Person A - states that the meme was posted as part of sarcasm, but also that they felt that way 8-10yrs ago
Person B - Informs person A that they are not trying to be rude but they are going to be muted
Person A - Doesn't even understand why

This is no vacation.
