Received our starter decks and these really cool card boxes. We're really enjoying learning to play Magic: The Gathering.
Magic: The Gathering is super fun. I think we're hooked.
We played two long games since we are learning, and our friends have been super patient and helpful. We did not win either game but became dangerous at one point, and the seasoned players took us out.
@Marc_T_Benedict @White_Rabbit I have family, specifically my mother, who still supports him. And while I do not believe my mother is a bad person, it has definitely changed my perception of her. And I've wrestled with the question of how she fell into the trap and what ideals she passed on to me that I need to change?
@MgBarbatos I won't say exactly how I'm watching but I'm streaming it.
@MgBarbatos My commander deck is Choas Incarnate with Kardur as the commander and is red/black?
I built my wife and green elves deck to learn.
@MgBarbatos My buds and our SO's are only going to play for fun and build decks together. Music, pizza, beers, and magic. Sounds wonderful doesn't it?
So where are the MTG players at on coso?
I haven't played yet but 2 of my friends are about to teach me. I bought a starter commander deck, Chaos Incarnate, which has Kardur as the commander. I'm excited to learn and play. Mrs. Prime is also intrigued.
@AskTheDevil Ouch, sorry to hear that. Went through that 19 years ago. You can and will get back up.
@Alfred can you create an image of Willy Wonka"s chocolate waterfall but it's balsamic vinaigrette instead of chocolate?
OMG! This is crazy.
@CanisPundit Yes I just had oreos and milk.
@pendrag Any movie under 3hrs today is a win in my book.
The new Wonka movie is really entertaining & it's better than the reviews. It's not meant to be an homage or reinvention. It tells the origin story of Willy in a style that can only be described as Wonkified.
The best part is the that it does a nice job sprinkling in nods to the original. From subtle background music, orignal takes on certain songs, the slight limp in his walk & other things you can easily miss if you haven't seen the first a million times like me.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
@th3j35t3r In the end there can be only one.
Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong.
