Each year in the Mexican city of Oaxaca, the days before Christmas are marked with an event known as the Night of the Radishes. Sadly, it's not a low-budget 80s horror movie, but instead a vegetable carving competition. Participants get remarkably creative, with everything from nativity scenes to fantastical monsters on display as thousands of visitors descend on the city to witness the fun.

@DBC I, luckily, have a job I look forward to going to. I love Mondays! I forget dates because I no longer write the date, because everything is computerized!

@XSGeek I agree. The fringes no matter how big or small are scary. And the whole making fun of β€œthe other side” whether coming from the left or the right annoys me to hell.

@Melissa_Chi11 I listed to a few, but always adding more: The Prosecutors, United States of murder, Morbid, Crime Junkie, Analysis of Murder, True Crime Garage, to name a few. In between, I also listen to β€œThe Influence Continuum,” β€œTrust Me,” and β€œDing Dong Darkness,” which have to do with cults and other issues similar. I do home care therapy, and drive a lot during the day, traveling from one patient to the next, and the podcasts help keep the trips interesting.

I am a Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) eater. Basically it’s a vegan, who doesn’t eat processed foods. So, I don’t eat those beyond meat things. Anyway, I thought I’d share what I made for a meal with family last week. This is a stuffed roasted butternut squash.

@DBC πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I am one of 7 people in the world who doesn’t like chocolate! (1 in 7 was sarcasm, but there can’t be many like me who don’t like chocolate).
