- even stop to check to see if we were okay. He just got control of his vehicle and drove away, leaving me and my 83 year old mother sitting there for 30-40 minutes. But I’m grateful we’re fine. I picked up my friend with minimal trouble. And though we are going to need to take the car in to have the bumper reattached on one side, the damage is very minimal.
Early this morning, after a night of fog that froze on the road, I was taking it slowly driving to pick up a friend at the airport when the car ahead of me suddenly went into a spin and careened backward toward my car. I did the only thing I could do to avoid a reason collision and drive my tiny clown car into the ditch. No collision. No injuries. But we had to wait for a patrol officer and then for a wrecker to pull us out. Feeling really lucky. Not so happy with the other driver who didn’t -

Woke up to -10°with wind chills of -25°. Today’s high is 0°. Our Amazon delivery was delayed yesterday and now says it’s coming today. I wish there was a way for me to tell them there’s no rush and we can wait until next week. I really don’t want the drivers working in this situation. Nothing I bought is worth their safety.
