It’s starting to look like Narnia outside. MonyMony has given up on this day completely and is now hogging the electric blanket.

Snow days are for snacks.

MonyMony is literally the sweetest doggo to ever dog.

I finished making MonyMony’s dog sweater, just in time for the snow that’s coming tonight. I’m pretty proud of my handiwork. Next time, I’ll add a couple more inches because while she’s a medium sized dog, she’s a little longer than most, so I‘ll customize the pattern. 😊🐕‍🦺🐾🦴

MonyMony, however, is pretty sure Santa Baby Yoda is the best gift any doggo ever got.

We got BOBBLED! My niece, her husband, and my nephew got us custom bobble head, which are seriously the coolest thing ever.

Today was holiday cookie baking day. Our neighbor from India had never seen gingerbread men or sugar cookies. Somehow, though, every cookie she decorated looks lovely while mine look like the handiwork of a three year old. 🤣 And our gingerbread men look a little…wonky. But then again, they look like they’ll all taste like cookies. And we had a lot of fun, which is what matters most.

Sometimes I cook fancy things. 😊

Today was rainy and cold and MonyMony got the big buzz hairdo, so we’re spending the evening cuddling with the heated blanket and her hoodie because she’s got a naked bootie and isn’t happy about it.

My Chicago fig tree still has unripened figs on it, but the lows for the next three nights will dip well below freezing, and I’m worried we’ll lose them all. Therefore, we got our little greenhouse tent from Aldi and covered it. Really hoping it works! We’ve got 30 or so figs on our little tree.
