My Chicago fig tree still has unripened figs on it, but the lows for the next three nights will dip well below freezing, and I’m worried we’ll lose them all. Therefore, we got our little greenhouse tent from Aldi and covered it. Really hoping it works! We’ve got 30 or so figs on our little tree.

Feeling better today. We got the new table put together! It fits so much better, and the chairs are the right size. Next month, I will get black fabric to put on the seats.

Today, I went with a friend to a local pumpkin fest/craft show thing, and I found this lovely handmade free trade basket for my momma for an early birthday present. She can use it as a handbag or she can use it to collect veggies from the garden. Either way, she loves it, and I’m thrilled.
