Technically it was already over. And now he's lost what he thought was the ace up his sleeve, the justices he nominated to the bench coming to his aid and Quid Pro Quo-ing him some spectacular reversal.
He thinks that's how everything works and fully expected to get some thing out of this, but he's been making bank on this. $200 million (and counting) from his supporters of money he's free to pretty much he wants with...
