Texas AG Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court today, saying Texas is contesting the election results in Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania.

This is Texas AG Ken Paxton's mug shot.

He is under indictment for 3 criminal charges. 2 counts of Securities Fraud (a 1st degree felony) and 1 count of failing to register with state securities regulators (a 3rd degree felony).

He is facing a prison term of 99 years.

Yes, because the lawsuit itself is completely ludicrous. Itโ€™s not a Hail Mary, itโ€™s downright embarrassing.

That's what I'm reading too, but I'm not resting easy with it. There's at least 4 SCOTUS judges who would give Trump the election if they could find the legal mechanism to do so..

This is really stress-testing so much of the election procedures in this country. I am worried that it's a test run for something foul in the future and if the Dems get the Senate, they MUST remove the filibuster if necessary create a 100% secure voting system whose security or results can't be politicized

@TheAbbotTrithemius

Yup. This was Trumpโ€™s play book back when he thought heโ€™d lose in 2016. Or, should I say Putinโ€™s playbook?

@evamarie @TheAbbotTrithemius

And to my embarrassment, my state is one of those joining this stupid lawsuit.

Yup, the "states rights" repubs showing their true colors. You're up late, what's going on with you? I just woke up, the wine must have worn off. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…
