Can I just ask what gives George Clooney the right to speak on matters of politics? Last time I checked he was still and actor.

Celebrity status does not mean wisdom or expertise.
@Tacitus_Kilgore I do believe that if a person has a platform they could use to convince people to choose good, they should use it.
But part of what comes with that is they might be an idiot, or simply disagree with me.
Elite status doesn't make a person any smarter or capable. The solution is to not build an artificial elite in the first place.
@AskTheDevil The thing with famous role models or influencers is that they either fall from grace on their own, or, we crucify them for being human. They're no more "special" than you or I, they just have better publicity.
