Seems I can't fall asleep. May be the heat, may be the humidity...probably both.
So I jumped on Deutsche Welle and seen this graph below. The question I have is how can anyone be a refugee on their own planet?

Extreme weather is going to increase the number of refugees, reduce the number of suitable refuges, and kill many people who otherwise may have only been beggared. Mostly children and the elderly, as usual.
This is our only hope for survival as a species...
@danalan Honestly, if tomorrow I had the money and influence of a Bezos, Musk or other fat cat elite I wouldn't be buying yachts or running social media platforms into the ground. I would assemble a coalition of people representing every country with the aim of finding a way to make life more equitable and fair for all.
I know it's easy for me to say that, but goddamnit, it's how I feel. I would definitely put my money where my mouth is, because what we are doing is morally and ethically wrong.
