While they touched briefly on the money aspect, I think this article missed another point: Trump is campaigning in areas he's likely to lose, because he's laying the groundwork for an insurrection. He'll likely point at the results and craft a new lie for his supporters on how the election was stolen (in an area he had little chance of ever winning).
Public service announcement: If your business is buying "known good" email addresses from a data broker... you may want to ask how they are verifying their data.
When I start getting spam from well known entities (I'm looking at you Variety magazine) that I've never signed up for, and it starts coming shortly after a data breach notification... I've got a pretty good feeling that you've just supported that elements involved with said breach.

Wonderful. Just received a warning from one of our identity protection providers that my info was included in the National Public Data breach. Not that THEY'VE reached out to notify me at all, smdh.
At least I submitted freeze requests when the news first broke a couple weeks ago. And because my coffee hasn't kicked in and I was cranky, sent an email off and inquired about joining the class action suit. *sigh*
If anyone is looking to freeze their credit reports after this weeks social security breach news, you can sign up for free accounts and get it done quickly online.
Be aware that Equifax is the absolute worst of the three (shocker, I know). The others will let you opt out of marketing/partner emails during the sign-up process. For Equifax, after you freeze your credit file, make sure to go back into Account Management and opt out of all the promo emails and "privacy sharing" at the bottom.
Now that she's finished watching whatever season of "House of the Dragon" (I refuse, because F George R.R. Martin until he finally finishes the damn series), our daughter is preparing for the remainder of the election cycle by finally watching the entire Game of Thrones series.

I see folks have concerns after yesterday's debate.
I have to admit, I didn't watch it. Wasn't interested in seeing more old white dudes that ruined our planet stumble over the soundbite phrases they were prepped with.
I'm more concerned with the corporate pocket politicians that packed the Inferior Court with paid for shills who have gutted the regulatory power of agencies.
I think the biggest danger we face is the corporate, conservative agenda of the current Court.
