In early October of 1973 a little boy watching TV saw thousands of people in the streets of a city on that TV and they were chanting something. And a man's voice on the TV said they were chanting “Kill the Jews.”
He asked his father, “Why do they want to kill us?”
His father answered, “It doesn't matter why. It only matters that they do.”
That little boy was me.
It's 2023 and it still doesn't matter why. It only matters that they still do.
Interesting opinion piece on MSNBC. This part in particular:
“Hamas has stolen millions in foreign aid dollars earmarked to build Gaza hospitals and schools and instead used them to operate a terror network that stretches throughout the Gaza Strip. It is using the entire population as a civilian shield as Israel masses troops along the perimeter.”

“Musk’s erratic decision-making repeatedly put the privacy of users at risk and clearly violated the 2022 consent decree.”🍿
Add this to the list of things that (probably only) annoy me -
Got a message the referrals my primary care provider put in are approved and to call the appointment line to get them scheduled.
So I clear some time and call, cheerful young lady quickly finds the referrals, and proceeds to give me phone numbers for each entity so they could schedule me.
Umm... so why is this the "appointment line?" If you're only providing the number, do it through the patient messaging portal! 🤔
First day of school... so of course, there was a group of (likely) tweens/teenagers running around last night causing mischief. Our house and 10+ others had rocks thrown through windows at around 11:30pm. 🤬
Probably a good thing my mattock handle and I didn't find them while driving up & down the street, but I dang sure wish I could be a fly on the wall when the Karma bus catches up with them for payback!
Ugh. Did NOT want to spend the weekend dealing with the home warranty company, plus reaching out to additional AC repair folks since the "identified provider" hasn't responded yet. And this is the second provider... first one said they couldn't make it out for an emergency repair until after Labor Day. 😠

BREAKING: Judge McAfee had accepted the Fulton County DA’s October 23rd trial date, but ONLY for Chesebro; effectively severing him from the other 18 defendants. Chesebro had filed for a speedy trial, and Fani Willis recommended 10/23 for all 19 defendants.
More to come.
@Synical Here's what I came up with for your prompt: 'Please create a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch as a cyberpunk netrunner.' #AlfredArt
