@Lulz4l1f3 Yeah, I don't miss the whole "critical employee" status thing. Haven't had to worry about it since getting hit during the tech layoff wave, though things were a little tight for a bit. It's been nice spending time with family and working on a graduate certificate at my own pace.

@phase2 Yeah, I think I'm taking a break as well. And to all those on about "ceding space" to the agitators: No offense, but my mental health isn't worth whatever you think might be gained be sticking around to argue/fight with them. I spent 24 years fighting to protect my fellow citizens' rights, and now I'm exercising mine. The gift of free speech includes the choice to not speak a'tall, after all.

Ah, done converting the VM's for class from VMWare to Hyper-V! All tested OK, just took some... massaging to get the resolutions where I wanted them.

@Lulz4l1f3 Given the recent activity of some of their student groups and other alumni such as Theodore Cruz, combined with the waffling by the administration, I don't think the bar there is nearly as high as our perceptions...

@dw98439 There are so many inaccuracies in the article you linked, I stopped counting. Suggestion: If you're not extremely knowledgeable about munitions in general & specifically US & Israeli equivalents, do not rely on partisan reporting to provide information.

Example: White phosphorous munitions are in use by many militaries, in a variety of applications. Usually, these tend to be for air-burst applications for illumination to give forward observers better visualization of a battlefield.

...I usually listen to Apple Music playlists (Sinister Sounds or Backyard BBQ are go-to's) or Lana Del Rey while I'm puttering around. Today for some reason, I find myself blasting the twitch.tv/mind1 channel. I dabble in Eve Online a bit, and having a DJ mix some great 80's hits mixed in with more modern stuff just has me rocking out today. And Prince just came on, gotta go blast the Sonos volume!
